A DATE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE
Same cities. Different seasons.
Do not reuse last month's time difference without checking the next meeting date. These examples show why.
Brisbane → London
9:00 AM on 15 January 2026 in Brisbane is 11:00 PM on 14 January in London. The London guest joins the previous evening.
At 9:00 AM on 15 July 2026 in Brisbane, London is 12:00 AM on 15 July. That is midnight at the start of Wednesday, not Wednesday night.
Sydney → New York
9:00 AM on 15 January 2026 in Sydney is 5:00 PM on 14 January in New York.
At 9:00 AM on 15 July 2026 in Sydney, New York is 7:00 PM on 14 July. A recurring call at the same Sydney time can move into the New York guest's evening.

LESS MATHS. MORE CONNECTION.
A little time-zone know-how.
A coffee in one city can be a midnight call in another. Here’s how to find a moment that works.
How do I convert a meeting time?
Start with the city where the meeting time was given. Choose the meeting date, enter the time and pick AM or PM. Then type the destination city and choose a suggestion. Type any time or choose a half-hour from the dropdown. Open the World map tab to compare cities; its + and − buttons move the meeting by 30 minutes everywhere. “Swap cities” reverses the view while keeping the same meeting moment.
Why does the meeting date matter?
Daylight saving changes the difference between cities during the year. The US and Europe do not always change clocks on the same weekend, while some places never change them. This converter uses the rules for your selected date, not a fixed offset.
What happens when the clocks change?
When clocks move forward, some local times are skipped. We ask you to choose another time. When clocks move back, some times happen twice. We ask which occurrence you mean and show its UTC offset. Half-hour and quarter-hour offsets are supported too.
Is 12 AM noon or midnight?
12 AM is midnight, at the start of the date shown. 12 PM is noon. Every meeting time here uses AM or PM, and we show the full date so you can spot when a meeting falls on the previous or next day.
Does this need an internet connection?
The 34,135 searchable places, time-zone rules and map are included with this site. Once this page has finished loading, searching and converting need no external lookup. Reopening or refreshing the site may require a connection. The catalogue covers many cities and larger towns, not every settlement.
How accurate are these times?
Conversions use bundled IANA time-zone data 2026c, packaged on 2026-09-09, for dates from 2000 to 2040. Governments can change time-zone rules, sometimes at short notice, so no permanently offline tool can promise 100% future accuracy. Future dates use the rules currently in this edition. Recheck important meetings after rule changes; we must publish a new edition to include new rules.
Give everyone a good morning. Or at least a reasonable evening.
Look for the green workday times on the map. For regular calls between distant cities, rotate the meeting time so the same person doesn’t always get the late night. The workday guide is only a starting point—ask your guests what suits them.
